Attorney Jose I. Miceli was born to immigrant parents and raised in New Jersey. He graduated with a B.A. in finance from Seton Hall University and graduated with the honor of cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law.
For the past decade, Jose I. Miceli has served as a Staff Attorney for Nancy K. Niedich, the Standing Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee for Miami-Dade County, FL. As a staff attorney for the Standing Trustee, Mr. Miceli has personally examined at least half of all Chapter 13 Bankruptcy cases filed in Miami-Dade County, Florida for the past decade. As part of the examination, Mr. Miceli has conducted countless Section 341 Meeting of Creditors and appeared in Bankruptcy Court at least on a monthly basis on all matters regarding confirmation of Chapter 13 plans and motions on behalf of the Trustee.
When Mr. Miceli left his position at the Trustee’s Office, he dedicated his objective to practicing bankruptcy law to help people in need. Nothing is more satisfying as helping those struggling to save their home, or car or stop a wage garnishment that is causing financial hardship.
